 The leaves and roots of nettles are rich in many nutrients:

Nettle has anti-inflammatory properties, which in turn can help with inflammatory conditions, including arthritis.

Nettle may be a promising natural remedy for hay fever.

Stinging nettle can help lower blood pressure by allowing your blood vessels to relax and reducing the force of your heart contractions.

Nettle helps lower blood sugar levels in diabetics. The antioxidant properties of nettle can protect the liver from damage from toxins, heavy metals and inflammation.

Method of use - Nettle root

1 tbsp. cut root is poured into 400 ml of boiling water. It is removed from the fire immediately and allowed to infuse for about 30 min. The resulting decoction is filtered well and used within a day.
In case of hair loss and dandruff, rinse the hair with the obtained decoction.
Compresses are applied to wounds and insect bites. For digestive problems and diarrhea, the resulting amount of decoction is divided into 3 parts and drunk before meals.

Contraindications

Like any, even the most universal medicine, nettle has its limitations in use. It is quite natural that contraindications for nettle are related to its ability to increase blood coagulability: it cannot be used for thrombophlebitis, hypertension and atherosclerosis. Nettle is contraindicated in bleeding caused by various uterine tumors (cysts or polyps), as well as in the last months of pregnancy.
